     Samuel Milliken was born before 21 September 1701.1 He was baptized on that date in Brattle Street Church, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1 He married Martha Fyfield on 18 April 1728 . Per Boston Commissioner Records, Samuel and Martha were married by Rev. Benjamin Colman (Presbyterian). They had at least 7 children, including:
- Elizabeth Milliken, b.26 March 1729, Boston;
- Martha Milliken, b. 16 Sept 1731, Boston;
- Jimima Milliken, b. 10 April 1734. Died in childhood;
- Samuel Milliken, b. 8 July 1736;
- John Alger Milliken, b. 13 Sept. 1738. Married Abigail Smith. 6 children.
- Jimima Milliken, b. 15 Sept 1740. Married Simeon Fitts;
- James Milliken, b. 7 Nov 1742..2,3

Samuel was admitted to the First Church in Scarborough by letter from a church in Boston, 17 September 1732, the year after he had moved there. He was a saddler by trade and carried on business in Boston as shown by old letters. He served in the French and Indian War.1

Samuel died in 1745 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Samuel died of "camp fever" while singing a hymn of praise to God while returning from Louisburg in the French War..1
