     Edward Milliken was born before 6 July 1706.1 He was baptized on 6 July 1706 in the Brattle Street Church in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.2

Edward married Abigail Norman on 29 July 1726 in Queen Anne's Chapel (Episcopal), Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.3

Edward and Abigail settled in Scarborough (District of Maine) on the Dunstan lands in 1729. They were admitted to the First Church at Scarborough on 31 October 1736.

Edward was "Justice Milliken" of the "inferior court" 1760-1771. He was widely known as a man of good judgement and sterling integrity, a useful townsman of public spirit, who was consulted as a wise counsellor. He was a grantee of Trenton on Union River and acted an important part in the settlement of that place. He was a soldier at Fort Pownal during the French and Indian Wars, and later settled at "Magebaggadeuce" on the east side of the Penobscot. In 1762 he was appointed by the general court to receive the bonds of the grantees. He was moderator of a meeting held by the proprietors of the townships on Union River, 1 August 1764, at Falmouth.

No record has been found of the death of Edward and Abigail.2
