     Thomas Prince was born on 3 August 1658 at Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. |.1 He was baptized on 8 August 1658 in Scituate, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.2,3,4 By his father's will, Thomas was given his freedom "at the end of the year seventy-eight" on 25 March 1679. He lived in Scituate and was married there. In 1680 he sold his interest in his father's estate to his brother Samuel and moved to Boston. He was taxed in Precinct 7 in 1686 - 1695 for a House and Maid.

Capt. Thomas Prince commanded the brig Dolphin and other Boston vessels sailing to Europe and the West Indies until his death. Per Louise Prince, he was a captain in the US Navy.5

Thomas married Ruth Turner on 23 December 1685 in Scituate, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts. Thomas and Ruth had 4 sons and 1 daughter..6

Thomas died in 1696 in Barbadoes, West Indies.7,4
